A short meditation

Find a comfortable position, allowing your body to settle into a state of relaxation.

Close your eyes if you feel like it.

Take a moment to adjust anything that might make you more comfortable, whether it's your clothing or your posture. Allow your jaw to relax, perhaps letting it drop slightly.

Feel the tension release from your neck, shoulders, and arms, letting them become heavier as they sink down.

Now, let your attention settle on your breath. Notice how your body breathes effortlessly for you.

Focus on the sensation of each inhalation, tracing the path from your nostrils down through your body. Then, follow the movement as it transforms into an exhalation.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Notice the rhythm and patterns of your breath in this moment.

Take a moment to check in with yourself. How are you feeling emotionally? How does your breath feel within your body?

Imagine your breath reaching all the way down to your belly, infusing every cell with revitalizing energy.

Send extra love and care to any part of your body that may need it.

With each inhalation, feel your body receiving fresh oxygen, nourishing your internal organs and cells.

And with each exhalation, release what is no longer needed, returning nourishment to the plants and trees around you.

Realize the partnership between yourself and nature in this exchange of breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Know that this meditation is coming to an end, but carry this awareness of your connection with nature with you as you continue your day.

You can now open your eyes again.
