New network for Regenerative Resources at BLOXHUB
Network for Regenerative Resources for a Living Future — Launched at BLOXHUB
In September, TAWS and Helth officially launched the Network for Regenerative Resources at BLOXHUB in Copenhagen — a new cross-disciplinary community for designers, researchers, and changemakers exploring how regenerative principles can guide the future of materials, design, and systems.
The network was born from a shared belief that sustainability isn’t enough. It’s time to move beyond minimizing harm toward actively regenerating the living systems we’re part of.
Our first gathering sparked rich conversations and new collaborations around circular design, biomimicry, and the social dimensions of regeneration. And this is only the beginning. The network will continue to host talks, workshops, and co-creation sessions that bring together people ready to turn regenerative thinking into practice.
🌿 How do we design for life?
How do we create solutions that not only minimize harm, but actively heal — relationships, ecosystems, communities, and material flows?
Through this lecture and dialogue series, we invite visionary thinkers and practitioners from Denmark and abroad who are working on the frontlines of the regenerative movement. Drawing on nature’s intelligence, circular design principles, social regeneration, and planet-centered urban development, they explore new pathways for design, innovation, and leadership in a time when everything is interconnected — and everything is changing.
Each session blends lively stories, practical examples, and deep dialogue to open a richer understanding of what it means to design in harmony with life itself.
This series is both a thought-provoking input and an invitation — to join a growing movement for systemic change and regenerative culture.
The network invites architects, designers, researchers, and changemakers to co-create a shift — from sustainability as harm-reduction to regeneration as renewal. Across four sessions, the program unfolds as a journey into the living systems that sustain us:
🌿 3 September — Regenerative Resources: Setting the Stage
With Laura Storm & Jacob Rask, we framed the regenerative shift: from sustainability to a paradigm where life itself is the model, measure, and mentor.
🌱 30 September — Nature as Collaborator: Designing with Nature’s Intelligence
With Bettina Lamm, Lotte Nyrup Lund, Oleg Kofoed, and Ida Bergström, we explored how ecosystems inspire new ways of designing with — not against — nature.
🍃 28 October — Regenerative Materials & Circular Design
With Ditte Lysgaard Vind & Sarah Juhl Gregersen, the focus turned to materials as agents of renewal — from bio-based innovations to circular systems that restore life.
🌾 25 November — Social Regeneration & Communities
With Laura Winge, Olympia, and Natalie Marie Gulsrud, we turn toward the human fabric — how design can heal relationships, foster belonging, and nurture collective agency.
🌍 20 January — Planet-Centered Cities & Design Futures
The series concludes by reimagining cities as living systems — capable of nurturing both people and the planet.
Each gathering blends storytelling, dialogue, and practical examples, creating a space where participants don’t just learn — they connect, co-create, and cultivate the mindset needed for a regenerative future.
